« Home | Wecome to Susqueats.com » Why don't we see any customers in most of these shots? In an effort to work with restaurants in a convenient manner, we schedule our shoots for their "dead" times. You will just have to imagine them full of paying customers... and yourself. Can we expect to get food that looks this good? Certainly the chef's know that their food is getting photographed, but regardless, this is the real stuff and the "tricks" you may have heard that food photographers employ have not been used here. No matter what we are photographing we try to make it look its best through lighting. And to top it off, we do it all on location, not back in the studio. Why haven't you featured (your favorite restaurant here)? We are working our way through the area restaurants. We are providing a free advertising service to them and asking nothing in return, so we schedule shoots as time allows. Restaurants are scheduled on a first come first served basis. Why did you choose to photograph (enter item here) when (enter restaurant here) makes a really great (enter other item here)? We allow the restaurant to choose which items we photograph. We ask them to pick items that will show off what their place is all about. What you see is what the chef/owner decided to prepare.
